The first NMCLC meeting of 2019 was held on Thursday, April 4 at Masjid Toronto.
Dr. Nadia Z. Hasan, Deputy Director, National Council of Canadian Muslims (NCCM), reflected on the mass shooting of Muslims during Friday Prayer services at 2 mosques in Christchurch, Aotearoa-New Zealand on March 15, 219 that killed 50 worshippers and injured many people.
She updated us on how Canadians have been responding and coping with this tragedy and the state of Islamophobia in this country.
