The second NMCLC meeting of 2019 was held on Thursday, June 13 at Trinity St. Paul’s United Church in Toronto.
Daniel Niamat of the Ecumenical & Interfaith Affairs Office, Catholic Archdiocese of Toronto presented the “Document on Human Fraternity for World Peace and Living Together” signed on 4 February, 2019 in Abu Dhabi by Pope Francis and the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Shaikh Ahmad Al-Tayyeb.
Following the presentation we discussed the question: “how do we bring the spirit of this agreement, and others into our relationships locally, and how do we raise awareness about them in our communities?”
